Summertime is a great time to catch active fish. As the temperatures rise and the water warms up, small offspring baitfish such as shad and silversides roam the shorelines. This trip I’m accompanied by my friend Kevin as we search for active fish busting on baitfish. Early in we spot big schools of active stripers swarming bait balls and the chase was on. This was a run and gun type of fishing where we would target a school of fish and catch a few, the fish would dive down and we would have to engine our way to find new hungry fish. We ended the day with a nice cooler full of delicious stripers. Thank you for watching.
