Morthal is one of the least favorite towns in Skyrim but is home to one of my favorite quests: Laid to Rest. "Morthal Gothic" is my tribute to this town, its weirdly unique atmosphere combining elements of gothic horror and nordic aesthetics. I talk and give a short analysis of town residents, ghosts, vampires, read a book "Immortal Blood" and provide some theories on what could actually going on in this remote, cold and swampy region.

It's my first Skyrim analysis and longest video I've made so far. It was a learning experience for me. The original idea was to focus only on a book "Immortal Blood" and character of Movarth. But soon I had inspiration to write on a wider topic of gothic horror and the sleepy, creepy town of Morthal.

Thank you watching!
