Lenny Breau on CBC's A Touch of Jazz: Winnipeg March 2nd 1965

Описание к видео Lenny Breau on CBC's A Touch of Jazz: Winnipeg March 2nd 1965

Lenny played on countless CBC TV and Radio shows from 1963 to 1969 in Winnipeg and Toronto. Only a handful really showcased his skills as a jazz guitarist in any depth and A Touch of Jazz was one of them. His playing on the trio version of 'Georgia' on this show illustrates how far along Lenny was in developing his unique pianistic guitar style.
Note that the bassist on this show is Dave Young with whom Lenny would record Live at Bourbon Street sixteen years later. He is playing Lenny's bass in this clip.

Lenny Breau (guitar)
Wayne Finnucan (drums)
Frank Burke (trumpet)
Bob Mcmullin (bandleader and alto sax)
Dave Young (bass)
George LaFleche (vocals)
