Extremely Rare Look 👍👀👍Inside A 100 Year Old ~ City Street ~ Shoe Cobblers Kit!

Before my dad got on a Caterpillar Tractor Company he had a shoe shop out of our house. You can see his sign at the beginning of this video … I dug his old sign out of our attic… my mom said they also repaired tarps for farmers.  The only thing I remember is sometimes people still brought shoes by for to him to fix in the early 70s… I have no memory of the shop because I was a little peanut…

Anyway, totally unrelated …this is a kit I acquired , at an estate sale. I believe ?
I’ve had this kit for approximately 30 years. I originally opened it was absolutely fascinated because it was just like probably the day it was last used!
I stuck it away and recently got it back out to show you! The thing I like the most about it was the old cartoon! I believe Taft was the president from 1909 to 1913 the article on the other side of the cartoon also had some serious history that I could Google or Wikipedia about an assassination attempt in Brooklyn, Ny. I imagine , and this is only a guess, that the owner of this kit carried the cartoon to possibly show his customers on the street? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this peek into history!
