In this video, I break down the best Cairo neighborhoods to live in as an expat depending on your needs and interests. Egypt can be overwhelming to even the most seasoned traveler, and figuring out where to live in Cairo can feel like looking for a pebble in a ballpit. Each expat moving to Cairo has his or her own concerns, priorities, and needs, so in this video I’ve addressed some of the bigger issues facing expats and recommended neighborhoods in Cairo accordingly. For some, downtown Cairo may be perfect, but others may find comfort in the Fifth Settlement or 6th of October City.
