Huey Tonantzin is the 2nd video of the Moon Dance Music Video Project created by Tia-Marie Brown and inspired by Marisa Miquiztochtli Reyes.

The Moon Dance Music Video Project is a 9-video series to show how prayer, ceremony, and ritual can be a part of our daily lives to invoke healing. The songs are from the Moon Dance Tradition led by Abuela Malinalli located in Teotihuacan, MX used to invoke prayer during a 4-night, 5-day ceremony for the Full Moon in October every year.

Marisa was a 5-year dancer who gifted her Moon Dance sisters a music album (produced by Jesus Aldana-Alba). This video project was placed on hold after Marisa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2020, and revived during her transition in 2023. With this video and the previous ones, we continue to honor her and what she believed in for her community and loved ones, sharing songs and prayer in the name of healing on a global level.
