Doing Interoceptive Exposure (CBT Clinical Demonstration)

Описание к видео Doing Interoceptive Exposure (CBT Clinical Demonstration)

In this video, we demonstrate an example of conducting interoceptive exposure (exposure to physiological sensations) during the session.
We encourage you to watch the video on "Developing a Panic Formulation" before you watch this video.
Interoceptive exposure is a core technique in cognitive behaviour treatment for panic disorder. The video shows the process of explaining the rationale for interoceptive exposure, setting up and conducting the exposure, and debriefing and setting up homework practice after the exercise.
A corresponding clinician reflection exercise can be downloaded from our website as a companion to this video. Engaging in these reflection exercises will help you to maximise your learning, and can equip you to use the demonstrated principles in your own work: https://www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/Trai...
