I bought the Candy Con Controller at GameStop for Nintendo Switch - Unboxing & Testing

Update - According to Gamestop's website, these controllers are hall effect, BUT nowhere on the box or on an signage in-store did it state it. Most people will have no clue if it's true or not. I had no clue, nor am I for certain either. Without tearing it down, I won't make the claim that they are without the product clearly stating it on the packaging. Gamestop's website has been known to put up wrong information before, so take that for what you will. Everything in my review still stands in terms of my opinion of the controller.


I finally found the Candy Con wireless Bluetooth controller for Nintendo Switch at GameStop. I will unbox it and test it out. Is it worth buying? Let's find out!
