ATTENTION: All my Dark Souls 2 videos are for helping purposes and learning where to find certain items. I do not in any way claim to be good at this game, nor do I think I'm very good. So please steer clear of pointing out flaws in my combat.

This is a video showing a very good farming spot for souls in Dark Souls 2. It's in Iron Keep and requires you to have beaten the Smelter Demon to gain access to the bonfire.

Area: Iron Keep
Location: Bonfire after Smelter Demon boss fight.

Before you start farming, you'll want to maximize the souls aquired.
Below is a list over all soul increasing items that will help you get those souls.

Soul Increasing Items:

Covetus Silver Serpent Ring - Located in a chest near the Tower Apart bonfire in The Lost Bastille.

Covetus Silver Serpent Ring+1 - Given to you by Merchant Hag Melentia after spending a certain amount of souls in her shop.

Covetus Silver Serpent Ring+2 - Dropped by Mytha, the Baneful Queen on NG+.

Jester's Gloves - Bought from Magerold of Lanafir, located in Iron Keep.

Tseldora Set - Sold by Maughlin The Armorer(possibly after spending a certain amount of souls in his shop?)

I recommend wearing the Tseldora Set and the Covetus Silver Serpent Ring+2(+1 if you're not playing NG+).
