How to Paint Highlighted Blue Armor | Warhammere 40k | Ultramarines

Today I will show you my latest approach to highlighted and slightly worn and weathered Ultramarine Armor painted only with a brush.

In one of my recent videos I painted a pretty cool 10th edition terminator in metallic armor and I turned him into an Ultramarine by painting one of the shoulder pauldrons blue. So I thought why not paint a proper, completely blue ultramarine as well in the same style and this time without using an airbrush, to brush up on my regular brushwork a bit. 😀

So if you want to see how I highlight slightly chipped and weathered Blue armor from Red in the shadows all the way up to Blue and almost yellow in some spots, with volumetric highlights all around, lots of scratches and chips to make it look worn, and glaze over them with a brush to integrate everything together, ultimately resulting in a display level Ultramarine, then let's do this.
