Jay Graydon's 'Airplay for the Planet' is probably the best sonically produced album I have ever heard. It's as close to perfect an album can be for that style of music. The songwriting, instrumentation, production, guitar, vocal guests (the late, incredible Warren Wiebe on this) and everything else is top class. The stand out track to sample the album is Roxanne but my personal favourite is the Joseph Williams co-write and vocal performance of 'When You Look in My Eyes.'

I chose this song to do as it's one I felt I could play all the way through as there's not a lot of guitar heavy tracks on the album. Although there are more tasty solos that I would like to cover, maybe in a compilation video. Still a fantastic song with a killer solo from Jay and so many interesting chords and voicings to figure out. Thankfully there was an excellent submitted transcription on Jay's website that helped me a couple of times when I got stuck. I do think I'm playing the odd voicing different here and there but I'm trying to just let my guitar sit with the track where there isn't any to copy.
