Josie Gibson confirms 'last day' as new This Morning host announced

This Morning's Josie Gibson has been supported by fans of the show after making a "last day" announcement.

Josie, 38, has been part of a rotating group of This Morning presenters, in the months since Phillip Schofield dramatically quit the show back in May. Former host Holly Willoughby then stepped down from ITV's flagship daytime programme in October, saying she needed to prioritise her family.

This Morning has since rotated between a line-up of presenters that has included broadcasters such as Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle and, of course, Josie.

Josie hosted Wednesday's instalment of the popular programme alongside Dermot O'Leary, 50. And after the show aired, Josie took to Instagram to let fans know she'd be back again for Thursday's This Morning, but that it would be her "last day".
