1939 Ford Pickup

From 1938-1939, the Ford panel and truck looked very different than the models that had come before. With a newly upgraded restyle in 1938, most of the look was changed with its new oval barrel-shaped grill, a more spacious cab, lager cargo box and even car-like fenders were added to it adding to its style and popularity. The old chassis was changed marginally as Mr. Ford was still in belief that their setup was enough for the truck but with enough complaints towards their old brakes made, he reluctantly improved those for this new design as well. Henry Ford once declared you can have any color as long as it was black, but those days were long over by this time they were offering almost double digit color choices.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this thoughtfully recreated example of the 1939 Ford Pickup for your consideration. There aren’t many trucks out there from this era left and those that are left typically don’t see this much love and time and finances put into it to bring it back to life. The 302 power plant gives you plenty of go and mated to the 4-speed automatic transmission makes this a great cruiser both highway and city, the front end hosts a Mustang II suspension and with the straight pipe exhaust, you couldn’t ask for a better sounding, better riding model. The exterior shows extremely well with its custom two-tone coloring with subtle pinstripes dividing the wonderful color choices, the chrome covered suspension really shines and shows the quality of this build and with the correct looking front grill, proper fenders and a beautiful wood bed, this is a real head turner! This model has a full book made up of all the wiring and electronics used for the next owner to have, the interior shows like new with custom fitting leather interior and there really isn’t one bad angle to this beautiful example.
