Quickly get your development environment up and running with this application starter kit. If you are looking for a bit more flexibility then this might be your solution.

Here are some features:

1. Template Based - I want to be able to use the same kit for many different frameworks. So no matter if you are developing in Laravel or Django or just need to spin up a quick MySQL data server, there are templates to support your needs.

2. Enhanced Environment - The template provides the initial infrastructure as code. If needed, you can modify the image to add new features. For example, I had a need to integrate with SQL Server, Active Directory, and other services, so a quick modification of the Dockerfile got me where I needed to be.

3. Architecture - I believe that the code for the CI/CD or DevOps tooling does not belong in the same git repo as your application code.

'kit new' - Will list out the available templates. As of the time of this video the following templates exists:

Django
FastApi
Flask
Laravel
MySQL
PostgreSQL
Redis

There is a '.empty' template that provide the empty scaffolding for you to create your own kit.
