Henry Louis Hasse (February 7, 1913 – May 20, 1977) was a science fiction writer. His early Cthulhu Mythos story, "The Guardian of the Book," appeared in the March 1937 issue of Weird Tales. In this story, he introduced Vhoorl, a planet in the "Twenty-Third Nebula." It is claimed that Cthulhu is the offspring of Nug who mated with Yeb in Vhoorl.
