A chemical found in cannabis, a genus of flowering plants in the family Cannabaceae.
It is also known as hemp, one cultivated for non-drug use.
It has long been used as hemp fibre, food such as hemp seeds, oils, and juice, medicinal purposes, and a recreational drug.

Hashish (hash) is a drug made by compressing and processing trichomes of the cannabis. It is consumed by smoking, typically in a pipe, bong, vaporizer or joint, or via oral ingestion.

Bhang is an edible preparation made from the leaves of the cannabis originating from the Indian Subcontinent. It is traditionally distributed during the spring festival of Maha Shivaratri and Holi. It is sold as the cannabis-infused Indian drinks (bhang lassi and bhang thandai).
