Taiwan has donated 400 metric tons of rice, valued at over 552,000 US dollars, to support vulnerable communities. 

Deputy Prime Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla, who received the donation, declared that it will benefit a total of 36,275 people by distributing it to 7,255 of the most vulnerable households.

The donation was handed over by Taiwan's ambassador, Jeremy Liang.
