Oukaimeden Boulderfest (OBF) 2018 Aftermovie

Morocco's first Boulder Festival ever took place in Oukaimeden in the High Atlas mountains. The first edition of OBF took place in unusual weather, more than 30cm of snow! We do not expect this to happen ever again. Nevertheless, the international group of competitors enjoyed the extreme circumstances during the comp, had a cozy film screening the night before and enjoyed the Moroccan food en drummers.

The festival is Organized by imiksimik and Climb Morocco with the aim to promote bouldering as a Sport to Moroccans, to putt Oukaimeden on the map as a boulder destination and to create economic opportunities for the local people.

The second edition of OBF will be held from Friday 26 till Sunday 28 April 2019. Again will have a film screening, Competition, Local Food & Music and a clean up/ environmental activity.
