23 Zero Walkabout 2.0 - Soft-shell Roof-Top-Tent

It’s our year and it’s here! 23 Zero’s new and improved Walkabout 2.0 creates a better camping experience for you. We’ve redesigned and re-engineered your favorite roof-top-tent providing improvements and new features so you can enjoy your outdoor adventure even more.

The 2.0 model includes the introduction of our new sustainable ECO13B fabric which is 100% certified recycled 900D Polyester Oxford. It looks and feels exactly the same, but it is produced using recycled PET bottles. This fabric results in huge energy savings as well as significantly less petroleum and chemical use during fiber production to bring sustainability to our industry – it’s good for the environment while getting you out in the environment!

There is no change to our revolutionary LST™ (light suppression technology) feature with the introduction of ECO13B fabric - in fact, we have found it to have improved LST™ to better adhere to the fabric and even further reduce light penetration.

We have added windows on both sides and in the front of the overhang of the Walkabout 2.0 to create more airflow and allow you an outside view in that direction when up inside the tent.

The ‘skirt’ is now black and longer to increase annex zipper coverage. We have introduced anti-rattle zipper heads minimizing zipper head rattle on windy nights. We reinforced the PVC back rear corners, so they won't wear with set-up and pack-down movement. We have double-layer tie-down points away from seams to provide extra strength where it’s needed.

The 3-inch Rebound Foam® mattress is newly engineered with a higher latex content to resume its original shape much faster than traditional high-density foam roof-top-tent mattresses. It feels firmer even though on paper it has the same specs as its predecessor. Side-sleepers will not slowly sink to the bottom. A water-resistant, breathable, topper is easy to remove and clean.

Of course, the Walkabout 2.0 retains all of the long-standing features that make it the exceptional RTT that it is, including the stainless-steel pivoting yoke, full zip skyview windows, superfine insect mesh, snow pole, ladder lock canopy hoop, removable rainfly, waterproof base for the mattress eliminating the need for a condensation mat, 1” Aluminum frame with polyester sheath, tape seam sealed seams, and much more!

The Walkabout 2.0 comes in 4 sizes – 56”, 62”, 72”, and 87”. ECO13B is also a feature of our Breezeway 2.0 model available in 3 different sizes – 56”, 62”, and 72”. Check them out on our website www.23zero.com.
