The Harbor and Sights of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

We explore the harbor and sights of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Sturgeon Bay is the largest city in the Door Peninsula in Door County, Wisconsin and is home to a huge shipbuilding industry as ships travel out to Green Bay and Lake Michigan. I head for a walk in the historic downtown area as well as see the beauty of its harbor. I also check out a couple of museums including Door County Maritime Museum. Later, I head outside of the city to see the Sturgeon Bay Ship Channel Pierhead Lighthouse on Lake Michigan. For lunch, I stop in at Sonny's Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria for some of the best pizza in Door County.
