In this episode of Aleph Podcast, we had the honour of hosting Imran Momina AKA EMU, one of the founding members of the legendary band FUZON.

EMU is a multi-dimensional pianist and music producer whose experience with music began at a young age. He formed his first cover band in 1992 by the name Live Sketches which focused on English rock songs, following which he worked extensively in the music industry as a studio and session player. Fuzon was eventually formed in 2001 as a collaborative brainchild of Shallum Xavier and Imran Momina along with Shafqat Amanat Ali on vocals. The band quickly achieved the heights of popularity with their album 'Saagar' selling over a million copies, featuring hits such as 'Aankhon ke Saagar' and ‘Khamaaj’.

EMU has recently opened up a state-of-the-art studio in Abottabad within the military music school. EMU is leading this project as a studio head.
