Located next to Great Bentley Station within Great Bentley on the Sunshine Coast Line in northern Essex. Most notably at this level crossing, a fifth set of lights for a small side road has a full set of long shades, all of which are twisted towards that side of the level crossing (most possibly a rather-outlandish way to combat light glare), and this particular wigwag looks really unusual from any angle you look at it from. Both alarms here are of a reasonable volume, and as can be heard, one of which sounded a little faulty at the time of recording. On this section of the line, you typically see four passenger services per hour serving both Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze (each with its own hourly service), though rather oddly, all four trains come within 15 minutes of each other, so the services to and from each destination meet each other in the bi-directional lines in the platforms of Thorpe-le-Solken station. The occasional empty stock movements from Clacton-on-Sea are the exception here though.
