The scarecrow motion activated sprinkler has really put our minds at ease. We always had to worry about a gray heron getting our fish. They can be very persistent. It also works to deter unwanted deer, raccoons, dogs and cats from gardens, ponds and wherever you do not want animals (or people, tee hee) to go on your lawn.
