Shimla To Manali|Road Trip| How we Reached|January 2022

This video is Part 2 of Gurugram to shimla to Manali trip. and in this video I have shown trip journey from Shimla to Manali . This trip was during last week of december 2021.
Road trip from Shimla to manali ( Manali & Snow will be covered in Part 3 Video)
1) What to carry :
• Sunscreen lotion & Moisturising lotion.
• Heavy Woollen Clothing & socks.
• Good Shoes for Treaking / water proof if plan to go in snow / or keep a warm socks and rent a rubber-soled high ankle shoes there ( you Get Entire water proof dress on rent Rs250/- along with shoes).
• Personal Medication.
• Camera with sufficient batteries and film / memory cards.
• Make Some space available on phone for videos
• Dark polarized sunglasses with retainers.
• Id Proofs.
2) If travelling with Kids / infants like 2 yrs or 3 years :
Carry Kids Medication kit : I carried the following ,
• Emeset Syrup Juicy Lemon is a medicine given to children to help treat nausea and vomiting. During Long drive, don’t give milk in morning to small kids and give “ Emeset 2mg “ to ensure they don’t feel nausea sensation when travelling in car , especially on hills.
• Some other meds also - Maxtra for cold ,
• For Any other Pain – ibugesic plus ,
• Colicaid for gas in infants/ kids ,
• Crocin DS for cold and fever.
• My recommendation will be see your doctor incase kid is suffering from cold at the time of the trip.
• For Adults – Headache Tablet and cold tablet .
• For Kids – Diaper , Wipes , Shocks , Keep one pair of cloth in the babby bag .
3) Carry Print outs and softcopy :
Hotel booking – printouts for your reference ,
ID’s ( Aadhar ) Printouts
• Read Himanchal Pradesh’s latest published travel guidelines for tourists (for Covid 19 instructions).
• As per recent updated guidelines, either RTPC Test or Second Dose of Vaccine is required to travel to Himanchal for tourists. We are carrying printouts and softcopy just to be ready if we are asked. I would suggest better to carry a printout.
4) choosing of Hotels :
• Please check the ratings and reviews of the hotel before choosing it.
• Also do check the room location and view from the room.
• Do check if breakfast and lunch/dinner is included or not and plan as per your need
