Our theme this month is to make a piece of art and choose a charity to donate it to - or in honor of a charitable organization. Here in SWFL I have a lot of charity requests to donate my art but my chosen charity is Arts Bonita and the Off the Walls Event! https://artsbonita.org/off-the-walls-...

This event is a fun night where all ticket holders choose a piece of donated art OFF THE WALL! It's full of anticipation and excitement to see your art coveted by attendees and the exciting reaction when that collector chooses your art to take home. Proceeds from this event fund the children's scholarship programs for summer visual and performance art camp as well as the year-round classes for kids at Arts Bonita. As an instructor and member of this Art Center, I see everyday the benefit that these classes have for kids and believe in the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Bloom Pouring Medium for Colors: Valspar High Gloss Ultra Base C
Bloom Pillow Paint: PPG Multi Pro in Eggshell White
Bloom Cell Activators: Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam White/Creative Inspirations Payne's Gray

Creative Inspirations Payne's Gray (both a color and a cell activator)
DecoArt: Champagne & Pewter
Amsterdam Greenish Blue + TLP Lakeside
Liquitex Bright Aqua + TLP Abalone (possibly a touch of yellow Golden Fluids)
Amsterdam Titanium White Cell Activator

Note: I usually wet my pigments with water or alcohol, thoroughly mix them then add to the tube paint/PM. I do this for two reasons, first I find that TLP's add a lot of sparkle and interest to flat tube paints and secondly, the tube paint is more stable, allowing the TLP to sparkle and remain "on top". You don't have to do this, but I have found from teaching and creating blooms for several years that it provides the best result. I also repeat the colors I want to be more dominant instead of using a large color palette.
