South East Gold Employer Recognition Scheme Awards 2022

An excellent evening on 7th October 2022 on board the impressive HMS Warrior for the South East Gold Employer Recognition Awards Ceremony!

16 public and private organisations were presented with their awards by Lieutenant James Swift. Also in attendance was His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mr Nigel Atkinson. In addition, three current South East Gold Award Employers celebrated being revalidated for a further 5 years.

The event included a Chinook flypast, an incredible spectacle thoroughly enjoyed by all, as well as displays from the Queen's Colour Squadron and HMS Collingwood band of HM Royal Marines.

Gold Award holders proactively advocate and support defence and the armed forces’ community, aligning their values with the Armed Forces’ Covenant. They communicate their commitment both internally to their employees and externally to the wider community, through established policies and examples of support.

Gold Award holders also demonstrate significant support for Reservists, enabling them to fulfill their annual training and mobilisation commitments.
