How to Construct Figures from Dynamic Poses

Описание к видео How to Construct Figures from Dynamic Poses

Drawing believable poses starts with a gesture drawing and then you build simplified forms on top. Instructor ‪@stevenmichaelhampton‬ shows how to use 16-17 lines to capture the figure's direction and joint spacing. Focusing on the weight-bearing of the leg and the pit of the neck for balance. For twists, he uses S-curves and asymmetrical triangles to show the rib cage and pelvis facing opposite directions. Constructing the figure with boxes and cylinders, ensuring parallel lines for width, depth, and height. Avoiding tapered cylinders early on to prevent confusion. Finally, for limbs, use simple shapes to represent bones and muscles, and refine with gestural lines.
