While there are a few different stories of how Mother’s Day originated, the history of Mother’s Day in the United States is pretty well documented. In this video we go over some of the events in history which led up to Mother’s day as well as some interesting facts.

The present day celebrations of Mother’s Day aren’t exactly the same as the originators intended. The commercialization has taken over, like it has with many of the holidays we celebrate. In either case, it’s a day to honor our mothers and the mothers of the world. Hope you enjoy the video.
