Bhadra Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary is part of Western Ghats, one of the four biodiversity hotspots in the country. Situated on the banks of Bhadra, covers the vast expansive area from Lakkavalli on the northern side to Muthodi on the southern part. And river Bhadra extends itself into the interior jungles of this sanctuary. The visitors of the Jungle lodges and resorts here are taken for Jeep Safari as well as boat Safari. BhadraTiger reserve is a great place to sight mammals, reptiles, and more than 250 species of birds. Boat Safari at the backwaters of reservoir is one of its kind! The boat travels into the interiors of the river and to the edges of the jungle.
