Home Alone Sega Genesis: The Best Glitch + High Score Trick

I'm very late to this one. I first experienced this glitch when I was making the video on all of the weapons for this game (I even showed it at the end). Little did I know that this is the real exploit that'll let you win without doing anything. I probably would have found this out faster from looking up some speedruns of this game.

In any case, this glitch is surprisingly easy to do. That alone makes it almost as interesting as the loot stall exploit (granted this one is much more consistent and doesn't require a long amount of attention).

As for the high score trick, it's very difficult. It involves you crashing into multiple fire hydrants in a row. It won't count if you bump into something or if you take too long. Top it off with the fact that you have to be holding A / B / C the entire time to have enough speed to break them, and you got a score strat that'll take several resets to pull off. I can get to the first 5 hydrants consistently, but 6 and 7 is rather rough due to how they're positioned. Thankfully, it can be done at the beginning of the game and score isn't mandatory. It does affect your rank at the end, but rank doesn't change anything.

With all of that said, my next video for sure will be the guide on this game. I just wanted to make this one separate for the gamefaqs guide itself since I can't exactly explain the fire hydrant part with words alone.
