Great Budworth Village Walk | Cheshire | English Countryside | 4K

This gentle walk takes us around the quiet beautiful village of Great Budworth in Cheshire, England. We begin on an uphill road that leads us into this lovely countryside village. As the cottages, houses and buildings begin to come into view you can see how beautiful this picture postcard village really is. Many of the buildings are listed and are built with brick and timber framing. Walking along we come to a lovely red post box and telephone box which has now been converted into a small library. As we make our way up the road we come to the centre of the village with the George & Dragon pub, the village noticeboard and the beautiful St. Mary's and All Saints church which is also a listed building. The village looks like it could be a film set which it was actually turned into in 2019 when the BBC filmed the drama series of War Of Worlds here. Turning left we walk through more lovely cottages and houses with plants and foliage adoring the buildings, which although in their winter stages, still look lovely. We follow the road along until we turn down a very peaceful country lane leading to a tree lined path back towards the main part of the village. At the end of the path we walk along a lovely cobbled road past a row of beautiful white cottages before turning at the church to walk to a lower part of the village, we even get to hear the lovely church bells chime. We finish our walk by turning back towards the tree lined path and stopping overlooking the beautiful countryside fields.
