This is one of my favorite Korean Dramas ever. Its name is Giant 2010 of SBS. This film won BEST DRAMA in SBS 2010 and became one of the best long - serial Korean drama.
"Giant" covers the lives of the three siblings growing up in the 1970's and their pursuit for revenge after their parents being killed and they had been separated from each other for over many years: Lee Kang-Mo (Lee Beom-Soo), his younger sister Lee Mi-Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) & his older brother Lee Sung-Mo (Park Sang-Min). The drama combined many factors and aspects in Korean' life and also performed the situation of Politics as well as Economics in Korea during 1970s, all the details were put together perfectly, which made such an excellent drama ever.
*** Let's talk about the couple in this MV:
Lee Mi-Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) loves Jo Min-Woo (Joo Sang-Wook), one and only son of Jo Pil-Yeons (who killed Mi Joo's father and assassinated her whole family in a long time) . Unfortunately, she fell pregnant, and was told by her brothers that she must get rid of the child and leave Jo Min-Woo, instead, she ran away, giving birth to a little boy Kang Woo-Ju. After the birth of their baby, Lee Mi-Joo attempted to hide her single mom status from those around her and became a successful singer, eventually becoming a star. After 4 years, Min Woo became the president in the big company and still searched for Mi Joo. Then, she met Min Woo again but ignored as she didn't love him anymore even though he still really loves her. At the end of the film, after suffering from many challenges, they live happily ever after with their little son, Woo Joo.
***** Woo Joo couple is one of the couples that has such the best chemistry I've ever seen. I'm impressed deeply by their beautiful lovestory in this drama and I'm still looking forward for their reunion in the future.
