What's For Dessert ?
Strawberry Shortcake Poke Cake Recipe
1 box white cake mix -plus ingredients for cake mix
1 box strawberry jello -3oz - 2 cups water
1 8oz container of cool whip
1 box instant vanilla pudding 3.4oz -plus 2 cups of milk
*Optional- 2 pounds of strawberries

Bake cake according to box directions using a 9x13 inch pan.
While cake is cooking, prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions.
Let cake cool for 30 minutes.
Poke holes in cake.
Prepare jello according to package directions.
Pour jello evenly over cake.
*Optional- Pour 1 pound of pureed strawberries over jello.
Mix vanilla pudding & cool whip and put on top of cake.
*Optional- Place 1 pound of sliced strawberries on top of cake
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before eating.
Enjoy the cake!!!
Store leftovers in refrigerator.
