Members of our Competition Practice had a virtual discussion offering some practical advice and guidance on competition law compliance during COVID-19.

The discussion addressed the following questions:

Is your Competition Law Compliance Policy adequate to protect your business from complaints about excessive and unfair pricing during the period of the COVID-19 national disaster?
What steps are our competition authorities taking to protect consumers and penalise price gouging?
Can you increase your selling prices during this period, and if so, what measures do you need to put in place in order to be able to defend these increases?
What kinds of collaborations with competitors are allowed during the crisis?
