Below is the description of the original video in case you weren't following along.

My goal is to create a mechanism that can shut off the nozzle of the hotend to prevent oozing when not in use. It must be fully mechanical, with no electronics or firmware changes. It also should use mostly printed components, and easily available off the shelf parts.
I am almost done with my current design, and I am confident it will work. I am just waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive. I am also working on getting the files on thingiverse so people can start trying it out and working on it themselves, and I will add the link here.
I am modifying the TEVO tarantula, but the same basic concept should work with many other printers. The Thingiverse link will have the STEP files, so the mechanism can be edited and adapted to other printers.
