When you pre-order or earn cosmetics, you have to equip them as gear. To wear the new gear you have to go to your Gear section, then Cloaks & then select "Change Appearance". This will allow you to select the Handwear, Facewear, Headwear, Neckwear, Outfits, Cloaks & Robes that you want to display as cosmetic while wearing the any of leveled gear.

In my video, I equipped the Dark Arts Cosmetic Set & the Dark Arts Garrison Hat since I got them w/ my pre-order!

You can get free cosmetics by linking your Wizarding World & WB Games accounts to Hogwarts Legacy as well!
