Foraging From My Yard - salad from 16 weeds, wild mushrooms, and Ginkgo nuts

The most challenging wild salad I've made! I harvested 16 different weeds and Blewit mushrooms, too. I grilled the Blewits, along with some Ginkgo nuts I harvested earlier in the week. Foraging a wild salad on New Year's Eve is a personal tradition I have. It can be a challenge when the weather has been cold and wet, or when varmints have been eating the weeds. But winter also brings wild mushrooms and ripe Ginkgo nuts.

In this video, come with me to pick the plants, sort and clean them in the kitchen, and then build the salad, including grilling Blewit mushrooms and Ginkgo nuts.
