CHILD

A
Girl
Looked
Dreaming
Of the future
Driving the Aptera
Parked waiting outside
Still cherished by her mother
A playful, beautiful, & bright child
Zoomed driving a pretend Aptera inside
Practicing for the day she would drive Aptera
Knowing it would be hers when she’s longer a child
Mom said it was made to last for any child coming of age
Aptera is generational so the mom can hand it down to her child
A child dreams driving her mom’s APTERA outside one day under the sun

WHEREVER

I
Rose
Standing
Lifted my arms
Tilting my head back
For turning a face upward
To feel a sun’s warmth upon it
An Aptera was parked near beside me
It too was soaking in morning glow and shine
We were charging ourselves for a day’s solar mobility
Ready to drive out into another bright, new world adventure
The road beckoned, calling us to hit the pavement in wingless flight
Dreams are waiting to be dreamed, reached, grabbed and realized wherever
