(Prophetic Life Workshop 08.14.24) Transforming Power

Session one introduces us to the transforming power of contemplative theology. Why do Christians stop growing? Why is mediocrity so pervasive in God's church? The promises of God through his Word are calling us to "be filled to the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:19) and the church is to come to "the full measure of the stature of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13). It seems that we often fall far short of what God intends for us through Christ. Contemplative Theology draws us more deeply into union with God. It is in deeper intimacy with Him that we find the transforming power that we lack.
