This is the final chapter of my FE7 HHM 0% growths playthrough, commentated by Mekkah and me. It is completed in 3 turns. Warp was used once (0/5).

2-turn clears of endgame part 1 are inherently unreliable because many of the bosses can't be ORKO'd without crits, period. For example, Lloyd and Uhai can't be doubled, while Darin has over 60 HP and there's no way to do 33 x2 HP or 17 x4 HP damage to him (you would need support bonuses). That said, you can imagine that there are many ways where growths could improve reliability, such as having a mounted unit who could quadruple Kenneth, a unit who could ORKO Ursula and Jerme without luck, and better backup options to finish off Brendan, Lloyd, and possibly Darin or Linus (which would obviate the need for either to be ORKO'd).

The Brendan fight is the one place in this run where Harken having 19 base speed from lucky HHM bonuses would've mattered. This would allow him to quadruple Brendan with the Brave Sword, meaning that he both wouldn't need to rely on a crit to do the same amount of damage and have about a 37% chance to outright ORKO Brendan (compared to 17% chance to double critical with the Killing Edge).

If Harken ORKO'd Brendan, that would free up Hawkeye to try to do extra damage to Lloyd or Linus if needed, which is why he took the Swordreaver.

Finally, the reliable Fire Dragon strategy that I described in the commentary requires doing 8 HP worth of chip damage from a non-Athos unit. The only such units who could deal damage in this playthrough are Hector, Eliwood, Canas, Harken, or Vaida. Hector, Eliwood, and Canas won't survive a retaliatory attack, while Vaida only does 3 HP damage. Harken does 5 x2, but he can't reach the Fire Dragon from any of the possible starting positions. In lapogne's run, he had to use Rescue on Harken to shift him slightly.

There is still a more reliable Fire Dragon strategy than the one I used, which requires Eclipse. Athos first goes for a 39 hit Eclipse to cut the Fire Dragon's HP to 60. If he hits (30.1% chance), Nils dances him and Athos wins with player phase and enemy phase Luna attacks. If Athos misses, he still has a 24.3% chance to crit on either Luna attack. Overall, these are about 50-50 odds, and the reason I didn't do this was because I didn't want to sit through 2 extra rounds of combat animations for a foregone conclusion.
