Whirlpool Washer Lid Lock Won't Work - How to Replace W11513248 / W11414731 Assembly

This is a very new style of lid lock in 2023 from Whirlpool, and also works on Maytag Washing machines like the Maytag Pet Pro Washing Machine. The lid lock is a newer style and disassembles differently than any other one on the market that I'm aware of, and no current videos exist of this repair.

Additionally, taking the top of the washer lid off seems to be different and more fusterating than the older styles. I've heard from other techs that, potentially, a thin flat-blade screwdriver pushing up while trying the initial maneuver can help bend the latches to make this easier, but I wasn't able to do it in this video.
