On his UNICEF visit, football superstar Sir David Beckham stopped by a girls’ school supported by the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, watching how hands-on learning — even tree-planting — is shaping confidence and skills.

Then came the football session.
“Twenty minutes or two hours — they forget everything,” he said.

Because sport builds teamwork, leadership, and self-belief in a way few things can.

A reminder of how much positive influence a strong male mentor can bring to a young girl’s world.
