Abandoned Tank Wagon: Dapol OO Gauge (1:76 Scale) 20 Ton Tanker BP Wagon

And now for something completely different………….instead of a standard aircraft, military vehicle, car or model ship kit. I have made something completely different, a model railroad kit. The Dapol OO Gauge 20 Ton BP Tank wagon. Going crazy with Photoshop, decal paper and rust & weathering effects; it has been become an abandoned eye sore……..in miniature.

Based on the look of the former Australian railways 4 wheel tank wagon; the model was altered from the simple looking British railways 20 Ton Tank wagon into a much more detailed model. The gangways were made from some Eduard 1 /700 scale ships railing. The taller fill point was made from an old model gun turret. And the diorama was made out of everything from cork, plaster, matchsticks, foil baking trays and of course plenty of glue.
