To boost the Congress workers, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has started her campaign in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh where the assembly elections will be held in February this year. She will interact with the Congress workers and the people of both Amethi and Raebareli.
Priyanka Gandhi enjoys a good affectionate relationship with the people of Amethi and Raebareli which are the constituencies of her brother and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and her mother Congress President Sonia Gandhi respectively. She is scheduled to be in the state from January 16 to 18.
Priyanka Gandhi had campaigned for Congress in 2004 assembly polls as well as for the 2009 Parliament elections. Congress could improve its performance remarkably in 2009.
