For those who don't have a TV or Video monitor with a Scart input,
this video shows you how to Connect a Roland S-330 Sampler to a TV or Video Monitor with a HDMI video input, and display the Roland menu, in Colour. Using my Roland RGB Scart lead, and a Low Cost Scart to HDMI converter. Also works with the Roland S20,S50,S550,S750,S760,S770 (if fitted with the Digital RGB board, which is optional on some models).

No Picture, or dark, and maybe Black and White, check you have 5v on pin 1 of the Digital interface.

It’s important that the TV video standards match. If your Roland outputs an NTSC video signal, then your TV or Monitor must also be compatible with the NTSC video standard otherwise you will get a Black & White (monochrome) picture or no picture at all.
