The Ford EcoSport (pronounced echo sport) is a subcompact crossover SUV, originally built in Brazil by Ford Brazil since 2003, at the Camaçari plant. A second generation concept model was launched in 2012, being also assembled in new factories in India, Thailand and Russia. The update for 2017 was unveiled in 2016 LA Auto Show. The car features a revised front end design, and a slightly redesigned rear end. The interior receives a redesigned dashboard that features an optional 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Petrol: 1497 cc, 3 inline cylinder engine, 123 PS power, 150 Nm torque, 17 kmpl (MT) / 14 kmpl (AT) average, 5-speed and 6-speed automatic transmission, 52 litre fuel tank

Diesel: 1498 cc, 4 inline cylinder engine, 100 PS power, 205 Nm torque, 23 kmpl average, 180 kmph top speed (approx.)
