Lari kebab, famous in Lar city of Fars province, is one of the most delicious kebabs that is made by combining meat with local yogurt. Masghati o Lari halva is also a well-known and delicious sweet in this region. Our trip is to the south of Fars province and cities such as Bastak, Evaz, Khanj, Kahtouyeh and Lar, which have a pristine nature and a unique food culture. On the way, in a village called Gol Berenji, we stopped to see palm trees and ate some Azgil (loquat), which were delicious. There are loving and hospitable people here who were very kind to us.
Now it's time for the famous Lari kebab test also known as Kanjeh meat or Yogurt kebab that I have been waiting for such an opportunity for a long time, I think this kebab is one of the most delicious kebabs in the world. It is made from beef, lamb or chicken and with a special technique they flavor the meat in salt, pepper and onions for 24 hours. Then it is mixed with two models of yogurt, one is dense the other is normal yogurt and it is skewered and placed on a charcoal grill to prepare this delicious kebab.
We tried this unique kebab in Foolad kebab shop or Mohammad Foolad kebab shop, which is almost 60 years old, it is very popular among the people of this region. Next, we went to report on the steps of preparing Masghati or Lari Halva, one of the most delicious halvas that is made in Adeli complex and belongs to Lar city and Fars province. This delicious and very nutritious sweet, which is very old, is prepared with different nuts such as almonds, pistachios, cashews, which in addition to nuts, also use first-class Iranian rose water and saffron. When the different ingredients are combined, they add the brewed saffron and mix well so that it gradually becomes dense. It has a soft texture and a very pleasant taste.
We tried the famous local Raqaq or Ragag bread , which is very popular in the southern cities of Iran, in Lar. It is made of a thin dough that is poured on a tawa and has different kinds like cheese, eggs with mahyawa sauce (a sauce made of fish) and at the end, honey is added to the bread, which was very tasty, and the interesting part of this bread, I strongly suggest you try it. It was wonderful. They even have a ragag bread made with sesame and eggs that is also very delicious. They even have Ash and chickpeas that you can enjoy in addition to the Ragag bread
