How to Crochet The Suzette Stitch

I love a good, simple, easy to memorize crochet stitch that is also beautiful! All these boxes are ticked with The Suzette Stitch. The Suzette Stitch is a one row repeat pattern. Make sure you’re already comfy with The Single Crochet and Double Crochet (which you can also find on my channel) before learning this easy crochet stitch.

The Suzette Stitch Pattern
Begin with an even number of chains.

Row 1: In the 2nd chain from hook, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet. * Skip 1 chain. In the next chain, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet. Repeat from * across. Chain 1, turn.


Row 2: Work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet into the first stitch. *Skip 1 stitch, work 1 single crochet and 1 double crochet into the next stitch. Repeat from * across.


Repeat row 2 until the project is your desired length.
