This is a big one. Credit to Ceamonks and Hannah for bringing him over to the game. Prototype is one of my favorite games and, as I was missing a number of things from this character I went all out to make him play as close as possible to the original game(s). I've modified the way many things work, removed some that didn't feel great, rebalanced others, and added a bunch of stuff.
Here's the full list of changes:
Added block and attack hotkeys for powers
Removed glide as it didn't feel right
Removed claws powerup, as he was still punching it felt like a waste, and it helped reduce the trigger and fightmove count
Fixed no trip attack in his basic combo
Fixed ground attacks not working
Small speed reduction when using armor power
Air dash (block+grab, or grab during jump) (unlocked with power 1)
High air jump
Changed tentacle pull effect and arm segments (claw and hammer together look a bit like whipfist). Chains into unblockable grab by pressing buttons
Changed cannonball from being a teleport attack, rebalanced damage
Changed blade jump power animation to be more like in the original game, it can also hit twice and be used from the air with (attack) during jumps or air dashes
Removed some blade frenzy power effects and trigger count, rebalanced damage and cost
Rebalanced tentacle barrage damage and cost
Added claws leap attack (block+attack), press a button again to attack mid leap (unlocked with power 2)
Added hammerfists pound (block+heavy): Hit the ground strong enough to pop surrounding enemies into the air (unlocked with power 1)
Disguise (jump, heavy or heavy during air dash): Shapeshift into random mooks of 4 types to become unnoticed by enemies (unlocked with power 2)
Patsy (heavy while disguised): Change your disguise to the enemy commander and command enemies in front of you to turn on their allies by declaring them as traitors (unlocked with power 4)
Faster grab loop
Unblockable grab (attack, grab) (can grab shielded enemies or even bosses) (unlocked with power 4)
Grab carry and throw (jump during grab) (unlocked with power 3)
Consume (block during grab): Attempt to devour an enemy and recover some health and energy (will insta kill enemies under 50% health) (unlocked with power 3)
Improved time bomb (heavy during grab) with tendril effects and bigger area of effect like Heller's bomb in Prototype 2, Mercer never had this but it's a good homage
Rebalanced Critical Pain tendrils, added immobilizing effect like the tentacle power in Prototype 2, fixed only one arm shooting the tendrils, reduced trigger count
81 less triggers to load the game
