SUZUKI SWIFT, WAGON R, RITZ IGNIS DZIRE TRANSMISSION OIL CHANGE HOW TO CHANGE GEAR OIL IN CAR? ENEOS

Transmission fluid change is something that can make a difference in gear shifts specially when it comes manual transmission. Gear oil change is which is usually pushed for major service. This is a DIY video where we are going to perform gear oil/transmission oil change on the gearbox of 1.2 K series engine used in Swift, Swift Dzire, Wagon R 1.2, Ignis, Ritz etc. The recommended gear oil/transmission oil grade for Maruti Suzuki cars like Swift, Swift Dzire, Wagon R 1.2, Ignis, Ritz is 75W-90. The transmission oil/gear oil used is Eneos 75W90 synthetic fine gear oil, this one meets with API GL5 standards. The recommended quantity of gear oil for Swift, Swift Dzire, Wagon R 1.2, Ritz, Ignis is 2.2L for regular transmission oil change. As per my experience changing gear oil for the transmission used in Swift, Swift Dzire, Wagon R 1.2, Ritz, Ignis once in every 15000-20000km does make difference specially if you drive in city conditions and face heavy traffic which leads to frequent gear shifts. These frequent gear shifts in heavy stop and go traffic with clutch engagement and disengagement does put the clutch in stress and lead to heat generation which can effect the transmission fluid. In manual transmission the gearbox can act hard with incorrect gear oil grade or an gear oil which has lost its viscosity and extreme pressure bearing ability.
